The British Isles have a history of forgotten tribes, societies and cultures, many of which are still a mystery today. The early inhabitans left us monuments and carvings we do not understand. In the United Kingdom more than 1300 stone circles are documented and in Ireland the number of identified round barrows currently stands at over 10000 while many new rock-art sites are discovered every year.
