This family was divided into many branches, the chief of them being the Beauchamps, Earls of Warwick; whose descendants, throught the Talbots and Dudleys, are the Kniventons, Levesons and Holburnes. The titles of the Beauchamps, Lord of Abergavenny, passed to the Nevills, of whom the present Earl of Abergavenny is a direct descendant. The Beauchamps of Alcester are represented by the families of Willoughby, Ligon and Rede. From those of Hache county Somerset, descend the Meriets and Seymours.
